Kim Kopetz Named a 2026 Top Women in Marketing Honoree

Recognized by Chief Marketer for her mentor-driven leadership and forward vision.
March 30, 2026

Kim Kopetz, President and CEO of The Opus Group, has been named one of Chief Marketer’s 2026 Top Women in Marketing.

This annual recognition celebrates the visionaries, innovators, and changemakers driving the industry forward. These leaders are behind the strategies, insights, and creative work defining what marketing looks like today and where it’s headed next.

Honoring a Leader Who Builds Leaders

Kim leads The Opus Group, a global network of more than 600 people across three agencies (Opus Agency, MAS, and Verve) and shared services teams spanning finance, IT, and HR.

Her leadership has guided a period of significant growth, including the onboarding of Verve to The Opus Group and the acquisition of The Company We Keep under Opus Agency.

Together, these moves have expanded the network’s reach across Ireland, Amsterdam, London, Sydney, Singapore, and beyond—and contributed to the company’s recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America.

At the core of that growth is a leadership approach grounded in mentorship, transparency, and development. Chief Marketer recognized Kim’s impact across several key areas:

  • Emerging Leaders Program: As founder and executive sponsor, Kim leads a five-month immersive experience designed to empower rising talent with leadership, communication, and business skills, building confidence and connection across global teams.
  • Learning and Development: Under her guidance, The Opus Group delivers a robust, year-round learning program, with 2–3 workshops each month spanning leadership, negotiation, wellness, personal finance, and more, reinforcing a culture of continuous growth.
  • ESG and EDI Initiatives: As executive sponsor, Kim has advanced efforts that achieved ISO certifications, launched sustainability pilot programs, and established Changemakers—an internal team focused on belonging and opportunity for all employees.
  • Event Leaders Exchange (ELX): As a founding partner, she has helped create a global platform for senior leaders to share knowledge, challenge thinking, and mentor across organizational boundaries.
  • Community Impact: As steward of our Community Grant Program, Kim has helped direct funding to dozens of nonprofit organizations nominated by employees, extending the company’s impact into the communities it serves.

Across these efforts, Kim leads with clarity, curiosity, and commitment to helping others succeed.
